Ruff Sawn is a Canadian company specializing in quality, handmade solid wood furniture. They offer a unique blend of rustic and modern rustic collections with several stain, painted and specialty glaze finishes.

Ruff Sawn specializes in handcrafted solid wood furniture, yet it is more than just furniture to us. It is our passion! With over 24 years of experience in the industry, two locations based in Ontario, Canada and two situated in the United States, we administer an efficient production and distribution network advantage across North America.

Our Ruff Sawn upscale styles are skillfully designed with form, fashion and function in mind. Our clean lines and organic textures represent the hallmarks for which we are widely known.

All our products cannot be easily reproduced due to the use of our unique tools and methods!

Our furniture is individually bench built by a community of North American skilled artisans, who rely on time honored techniques combined with technology and precision to ensure our furniture is crafted with the utmost care.

Solid wood entertainment units. Handcrafted in Canada with air-dried domestic wood that is then kiln-dried to remove moisture.

Ruff Sawn incorporates the use of timeless techniques such as mortise and tenon when handcrafting furniture.  Our drawers are English Dovetail construction and available with full extension side mount or soft close under-mount slides.  Each drawer is completed by boasting a rich finished interior.

RuffSawn does not sell to the public. We have RuffSawn furniture in-store but if you see something you like from their website or catalogue, we can order it for you. Check out the full line of quality stains for their furniture.

Furniture Alterations

Ruff Sawn offers the end user an option to alter our pre-existing collections.  With access to our platform of over 3000 SKU’s, the potential is limitless!  We eliminate the frustration of sourcing designs that do not meet all the user’s requirements functionally and aesthetically.  Our innovative and seamless approach provides purveyors and clients with access to our Ruff Sawn Design Team, to assist in every step of the creative development process.
